Youth Nationals 2008 – Mosselbay
It seems very likely that Youth Nationals will be held at Mosselbay in December.Dave Manley who is a friend of the Dabchick has assurred me that he will be able to run a seperate course for Dabbies which can moved into sheltered waters should the swell become a problem for us.
Rob Mcrystal & Ronnie Baer of SAS have also informed me that this has at yet not been sanctioned but has a good chance of happening. Watch this space.

They had better have lots of rescue boats & competent crew.
This is a open shore & highly risky for juniors.
We ran plenty of offshore events in Durban for Dabbies & Oppies but these were restricted to sailors whom we thought were competent.
if you run the Nationals offshore you will have to accept all legal skippers competent or not
