		<description>Hi Warwick,

Cor Langhout of the Technical committee supplies plans in PDF format or on a CD to anyone who requests. I pass on all requests to him, we do get quite a few.Cor is a great help and keeps in touch.

Rob,Stephen du Toit and myself tried really hard to get something going,on various occasions, with the Dabbies in Moz but we were unsuccessful. We tried telephonically and via e-mail. Maybe its time to try again, anyone speak Portuguese ?

Any promotional videos etc are always welcome,I am only the webmaster here so its really up to you guys to get this rolling. Obviously, if I can support your efforts in any way you know where to contact me.

		<description>Hi Owen,

we see a number of international requests for details of the Dabchick. Do we have a set of plans in pdf which can be sent to these people whenever there is a query for them? I hope you have a record of all of these email addresses, to keep them up to date with the latest happenings in the class. What about the 6 boats in Mocambique, do you have their contact details? Can we not arrange to have a regatta together with them? Dabbie Africans sounds cool, next time we can push for a Dabbie Worlds.

At the AGM some of the kids proposed they help with a Dabbie promotional video. I have some footage, which I will give to Ollie, Sabine and anyone else interested, then we see what results out of this. I think it is a lot better than paying someone external a fortune to make a video for us. Please let me know what you have.
Once we have the final product I will let you have a look at it, mybe you know how to get it onto You-Tube.

Orpa is keen to do some marketing for us. We did a few A3 posters at nationals and some flyers which took a good stab at some of the SAS logos and I think gave us a really good punt. Now we want to continue this effort at the rest of the NVL clubs, in a similar vein to your great posters. I will email you what we set up. Any comments welcome.

Regards

		<description>Hi Raymond
I recently bought a new fibreglass dabbie for my son, made by Stephen Du Toit in Cape Town, SA. If you want his e-mail address I can get it for you. He may be able to help make up a kit for you.
Best of luck

<description>Great to hear the interst in the Class - it has improved a lot over the years, and Steve du Toit has added a lot of refinment, that improves the performance and downwind characterstics significantly.

There are lots of old sails around - let us know it you still require. PS: The latest Class rules state that the main sail may be loose footed, but there are none of those lying around yet !
